As part of Thales’ in-house creative team, I helped establish and grow a new UK studio to support global marketing initiatives. Working across brand, digital, video, and event campaigns, I partnered with senior stakeholders to deliver creative solutions, supporting product launches, research campaigns, customer engagement, and global events.
Below are a selection of brand projects that showcase the breadth of this work.
Annual research report
Thales commissions a series of annual research reports that require a consistent visual identity while remaining distinct across regions and audiences. I designed a cohesive report family with a unique visual treatment for each publication. The design system was extended across regional editions and industry-specific versions, using differentiated colour palettes and graphic approaches to maintain consistency while clearly distinguishing each report.
Thales Global Sales Kick Off: Brand Activation & Event Highlights
Working closely with senior executives and the VP of Marketing, I created brand activations for Thales’ annual Sales Kick Off, including experiential event graphics, app assets, and promotional materials. To extend the impact of the event, I produced this highlight video, documenting key moments and creating a showcase for Dankner, the agency behind the event strategy and delivery.
UX Audit and redesign of a campaign landing page to improve engagement
I led a UX audit and redesign of a campaign landing page, starting with the creation of four key user personas to better understand audience needs and behaviours. Using Hotjar analytics and user journey mapping, I identified multiple exit points and a lack of clear direction, which prevented visitors from progressing towards conversion. Based on these insights, I restructured the page around a more focused content hierarchy and a clearer path to a single call to action. To increase engagement, I introduced lightweight interactive elements, including an animated scroll experience that guided users through the content, an Amazon-style report preview that showcased selected pages to encourage downloads, and animated infographic statistics that brought key insights to life. Every enhancement was designed with performance in mind, creating a faster, more intuitive experience that improved both usability and engagement.
Viral social media post
I developed an interactive social campaign that challenged users to capture moving data within a digital lock using a timed screenshot mechanic, turning passive scrolling into active participation. The campaign became Thales’ top-performing social content at the time, generating more than 3,000 views, 300+ likes and 44 comments, demonstrating how creative, interactive storytelling can make complex B2B topics more engaging and memorable.
